Where the motto is: Don't Siesta. Let's Fiesta!

The Fiesta Mexicana serves up the best Mexican food I have ever tasted in the UK.

From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by warm and friendly people. The food is delicious, the service is good, and there is always something going on.

So, next time you find yourself in London, forget about dining up there in London where the prices are so extortionate. Take the train down to Orpington and dine at the Fiesta Mexicana!

The Fiesta Mexicana

99-101 Orpington High Street BR5 0LG

The Fiesta Mexicana is located in the original NatWest building on the Orpington High Street. They opened in 2007 and became an immediate hit with the locals and beyond.

You definitely need a reservation if you want to eat on a Friday or Saturday night. It is the place to go for food, fun, and celebrations.

The crew at the Fiesta Mexicana are great, but people wouldn't keep coming back if the food weren't equally as good. Whether you want mild or hot or somewhere in between they have the dish for you. And it is all fantastic.

Don't just take my word for it:

Emma: Friendly staff, good atmosphere and the best Mexican food I've tasted outside of Mexico.

Kayla: That place is cool. Great atmosphere fantastic food and the only resturant I know where the key word is party!!

Paul: Good food and we always feel welcome.

Why is the Fiesta Mexicana so good?

  • Free Salsa lessons - every Thursday between 8.30pm-10.30pm.

Come down for a meal, stay for a bit of salsa.

  • Kids eat free Monday to Saturday 4 -6.30

That's right. Just show up with your kids and get a free kid's meal for up to 2 kids when accompanied by 2 adults.

  • The food tastes great.

It really does. And it doesn't have to be hot. They have a wide range of foods from very mild to steam from the ears hot.

This isn't Tex-Mex and it isn't some warped European idea of what Mexican food should be. This is the real deal.

  • The owner is actually from Mexico.

I had the pleasure of chatting with him just before the restaurant opened a few years back and I asked him.

  • The people who work there are very friendly.

Every time I go in I am greeted with a hello and a friendly smile. Everyone is always smiling and laughing, customers and staff alike.

Love it! And Italian. And Chinese. Japanese. Thai.

Uhmm, I guess I love food!

sandyspider says:

I love Mexican food. The spicier the better. We have this at least once a week.

NanLT says:

We love Mexican food at our house. Enchiladas, burritos, or fajitas are on the menu at least once a week around our place. And I get no complaints if I serve it more often. The hotter the better.

Sorry, it's not for me. I prefer something else (tell us what you prefer).

BevsPaper says:

Actually I like it but my favorite is Italian.
